About

Born and raised in Chichester, West Sussex (and now living 15 miles to the east, in Littlehampton) I am in the enviable position of being minutes away from some of the best scenery along the South Coast. In fact, as you browse this site you will find several photos taken just a stone's throw away from where I live!

My interest in photography began back in 2007 when I purchased a Fuji S6500fd 'bridge' type camera in preparation for a city break to Budapest. Throughout the rest of 2007 my photography knowledge and skills increased as did my passion for photography. A city break to Rome followed in 2008 and it was leading up to this break that I started to think about 'the next step' and purchasing a DSLR. Whilst in Rome, the Fuji started to develop a few issues, so this gave me the perfect excuse to get a new camera!

A shortwhile later a Nikon D80 was delivered, and so my next step along the photography path began in earnest. I was immediately impressed with the quality and creative control that a DSLR offered compared to my Fuji bridge camera. It wasn't long before lenses and various other accessories were purchased; a sign that my hobby had started to turn serious!

Since purchasing my Nikon D80 my photography skills and 'eye for a photo' have come on leaps and bounds. Keen to show my photos to a wider audience I started to create galleries on various websites such as Photo Radar and Flickr. Publishing my work on such sites also resulted in various requests for my images to be used in a couple of publications, which I happily accepted. These requests, along with numerous comments on my photos boosted my confidence no end!

My girlfriend and I purchased a new-build house in April 2009, and as with any new house there were alot of blank walls to fill. To help cover the vast expanse of white walls we decided to get a selection of prints made up in a variety of sizes, including some large canvas prints. Friends and family have all commented on how good the photos are and some even asked about getting prints made up for them! So this got me thinking about putting my photos up on my own site and trying to sell them, which has resulted in me creating this website.

There you have it...a bit of info about me and how I got into photography. I hope you enjoy browsing the site and the wide variety of images it contains. Should you wish to leave a comment you can do so here, and if you feel the urge to buy a print just click here.
